1. AI That Completes, Not Creates

Adoption Killers

1. Latency Over 3 Seconds

Users will wait for a page load. They won't wait for AI:

  • Under 1 second: Feels instant, high adoption
  • 1-3 seconds: Acceptable if valuable
  • Over 3 seconds: Users give up, try once, never return

2. Hallucinations with Consequences

One bad experience kills trust:

  4. Offer specific actions. Buttons beat prompts for adoption.
  5. Show your work. Explain why, not just what.
